Aico recently exhibited at FIREX International 2019 at ExCeL, London. The event is one of the largest in the industry and welcomes 18,000 global fire safety professionals over three days to experience the latest technological innovations and hear the industry leaders.
This will be the third year Aico have been exhibiting at FIREX International. FIREX gives Aico the opportunity to showcase our range of products and services, with the main objective of meeting potential customers face to face and networking with key decision makers to forge productive relationships.
At FIREX this year, Aico’s new stand was on show. The new design takes the shape of a house, allowing visitors to see Aico alarms in situ as they would appear in customers’ homes. The house design incorporates an escape route similar to a real-life property.
Tina Mistry, Aico’s Regional Specification Manager commented “The layout was perfect allowing us to interact with clients in different rooms from demonstrating the alarms to having meetings in the dining room and in the comfy sofa area. The Virtual Reality experience was well received and definitely raised awareness of the effects of Carbon Monoxide.”
One of the main highlights for Aico at this year’s FIREX was a presentation by Aico’s National Technical Manager, Andrew Speake surrounding the key changes to BS 5839-6:2019 which took place in the Expertise & Guidance theatre.
