First Challenge Completed
Members of staff from Aico have signed up to multiple fundraising challenges throughout 2019, to raise money for their Charity of the Year, MacMillan Cancer Support.
Kelly Hodgetts, from Aico’s Internal Sales Department completed the challenging ‘Whitchurch 10K’ on Sunday 7th April, which is the first of the many challenges and events Aico has planned throughout 2019.
Kelly Hodgetts, who completed the Whitchurch 10K in 1 hour 6 minutes comments “I was very proud to be raising money for Macmillan by running the Whitchurch 10k. The course itself was much hillier than I had expected, but support from my friends, family and colleagues was invaluable and combined with the money that I had raised for Macmillan, gave me the determination to get around the course on the day”.
Aico’s next challenge will be the massive twenty-six-mile Jurassic Hike in Weymouth on Saturday 15th June.
